Our history

Aurteneche is a family company with more than 75 years of experience in the public works and construction machinery market.

Founded in 1945 by the pioneer Valentin Aurteneche, father of the current owner Jesus Aurteneche, who transmitted to his son, since he was a child, his passion for machinery. 20 years ago, Aurteneche, made a great effort and hard work to introduce the Japanese brand of mini excavators YANMAR in the Spanish market, with which they have achieved that YANMAR today is one of the reference brands in the Spanish market.

With this extensive experience, 5 years ago, Aurteneche started working with the Japanese brand KOBELCO, of which it is a distributor in most of the northern part of Spain. At present, Aurteneche is dedicated to the sale and rental of machinery, both new and semi-new, with a large fleet of machinery.

At the moment we have bet for the creation of a department and work team consisting of wood shredding for Biomass, sector that every year is acquiring greater weight in this country.

Our headquarters, in Nanclares de la Oca (Alava), has a large team of professionals specialized in the sale, maintenance and repair of all the equipment marketed by the company.

The company has a team of 55 professionals, with a wide experience in the world of machinery, as well as collaborating agents in Malaga and a delegation in Cantabria.

Of the more than 90,000 square meters that the company has, 6,500 square meters are dedicated to workshops and 22,000 square meters to spare parts from its own scrapyard. The rest is divided between the commercial offices and the machinery yard
